Thursday, July 16th, 2009Loved this ad for Australia’s best selling VB beer. With dwindling sales and tough competition from ‘fancy import lagers’ the board at VB made a decision to move away from the agency they had used for decades. It’s a really clever departure from their traditional ‘hard-drinking’ reputation to a warmer ‘everyman’ image, which is bound to draw people in. And it’s bloody funny too (mate).
Just goes to show what can be achieved when a talented new agency gives a slightly tired looking brand a bit of a shake up.
