Peter Crawley Stitched Up

We’re always charmed by left field thinkers at D4 and lately there’s been a plethora of weird and wonderful creative delights zipping through our collective view finder. One that I particularly like is the curious illustration work of Peter Crawley.
Peter works mainly in Product design but also undertakes commissions for illustrations using various paper stocks through which he stitches type and image for advertising campaigns and publishing jobs.
If you look closely at some of his exhibition work you can see that illustrations work in 2 dimensions; showing the front face of the image, controlled and pictorial then looking at the reverse one sees the chaos and inner workings of his work. Its great so feast your eyes!
