Controlled Speed
Controlled Speed is a long-established electronics manufacturer in West Yorkshire, supplying some of the world's leading producers of mobility products, stair lifts and industrial equipment.
D4 was commissioned to rebrand the company, emphasising the cutting edge nature of their work and enabling them reach new audiences with their message. They were also keen to promote a new ‘contract manufacturing’ arm of the business.
The existing branding looked tired and outdated, an image completely at odds with the reality of Controlled Speed. We identified that in order to attract new UK and European customers it was important to present a more dynamic and forward thinking image. As a manufacturer of electronics equipment, it was vital to show Controlled Speed was at the forefront of technological development.
By creating a new company logo and using clear, unpretentious photography we set out to create a highly effective suite of literature that would demonstrate experience, expertise, reliability and continual investment in new technology. We built a user-friendly and appealing website with intuitive navigation and clear, engaging design. We also created a micro-site dedicated to contract manufacturing.
As a result Controlled Speed is now seen as a leading authority in its sector. There has been renewed interest in the company, with new customers being generated at home and abroad and an increase in business from existing clients. The sales force has been invigorated, and there is a greater sense of pride in the products and services they promote.
